Year 12 Mathematical Methods
Our Year 12 Mathematical Methods program covers all relevant outcomes as outlined in the WA/ACT Syllabus. Students build on their understanding of differential calculus to discover the link to integration and to build mastery of the various techniques and their applications. Students also study the logarithmic function and its derivative. In addition, our program provides in-depth instruction on continuous and discrete random variable distributions. This builds a framework for statistical inference including confidence intervals for proportions.

Dr Samuels and her Education team developed Cluey's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.

Based on the state and national curricula for Years 11 and 12, Cluey’s approach to senior Maths focuses on advanced topics, such as calculus and statistical analysis, and is intended to prepare you for Maths at a tertiary level. Andrew is a qualified Teacher and has completed his Master of Teaching (Secondary) in 2020 at Queensland University of Technology and also has a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his degree, Andrew has had first-hand experience in tutoring High School students in Maths. Andrew is passionate about helping students develop their key numeracy skills for life-long use, as they work towards acquiring educational independence. He has a passion for guiding students to reach their full potential based on their interests, strengths, and individual learning styles.
Kyle
VIC University Student (Master of Biomedical Engineering)
Mathematics: Secondary & Senior
Kyle completed his Year 12 certificate in 2016 with an ATAR of 96.15. He then went on to complete a Bachelor of Bio-medicine with a major in Bio-engineering at the University of Melbourne, and is now completing his Master of Biomedical Engineering. Kyle has a passion for problem-solving and helping students work through problems critically, with a holistic methodology. He enjoys breaking down concepts to their simplest forms so students can better understand and retain the knowledge.

Maria completed her Victorian Certificate of Education in 2020 with an ATAR of 97.5. She then went on to commence her Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering at Monash University. Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
